Unilever launches Simple Skincare into US and Canada
Simple Skincare, Unilever's recently acquisition to its brand portfolio, has launched into the US and Canadian markets.
Simple Skincare has achieved the position of the UK's No1 facial skincare brand supported by a strong web presence designed and developed by Idealogy and Rocktime. It became a simple decision for Unilever to take the established web platform and develop a site for the new territories (with a plan for Simple Skincare Australia following later in 2012).
With an initial marketing push through a number of channels the site achieved over 5 times as much traffic than the UK site in a matter of hours. With the additional demands of presenting HTML5 content and streaming video led to the expansion of Rocktime's hosting Environment for the brand strengthening both performance and resilience with what is expected to become a continual level of visits. There is most certainly a bright future for the brand through 2012.
