Vodafone confidence in Rocktime for the 3rd year running

Rocktime has been commissioned to work on Vodafone’s World of Difference programme for the 3rd year running.

The agency has developed a complex Bursary Award System enabling candidates from all over the UK to enter the programme to win a Bursary Award. The World of Difference UK programme gives 500 people the chance to work for a UK-based charity of their choice for two months, and get paid for their time.

Candidate complete a web form submitted to an SQL database and made available to a group of judges all remotely located who have the ability to review and rate candidates using a complex scoring process which eventually determines the successful winners.
Judges as part of the review process have the ability to communicate via the system with both the individual candidates, their referees and their chosen charities with responses being received by the system and allocated to the correct record and flagged according to the response.
Candidates are able to part complete the entry form with the option to return at a later date to complete the process of submitting all required information.

The developed system is built in .net4 and hosted on a Rocktime dedicated web server with supported backup and redundancy services.
