Services Provided

The Landlord Accreditation Wales (LAW) Scheme has been set up in partnership with the 22 Local Authorities in Wales, and is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government. The scheme is administered and maintained on behalf of the partnership by Cardiff Council.

The aim of the scheme is to promote good management practices and levels of awareness in the private rented sector. Landlords who join the scheme and abide by the standards are ‘accredited’ and are recognised as good landlords.

The Rocktime website development comprises a range of information pages for tenants and landlords with restricted access (extranet) section for landlords.

The Rocktime CMS allows the administrators to manage page content and page creation automatically in a dual language format (English and Welsh). A library and news CMS function allows the upload of relevant documents and publication of news to select areas of the website and Landlords are able to apply for accreditation online and select the relevant courses to gain accreditation and make payment for such courses. Similarly the CMS allows the administrators the ability to maintain courses, progress accreditations and manage the landlords’ database and process course payments.

Rocktime have been retained for an initial 3 year contract including support, training and dedicated hosting.
