Project Overview
Rocktime work closely with E-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) on two projects comprising
an advanced content managed website development and secondly, a web enabled bespoke
database development with the client providing the design layouts.
e-LfH required a 'customer facing' web presence that would act as an information
portal that they could fully manage in terms of content with full cross browser
compatibility and website accessibility.
Project Features
- Website design & build ASP.NET 2.0
- Bespoke web database development
- Logic Content Management System
- Rocktime dedicated hosting
- Website accessibility compliance
Services Provided
E-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) is a division of the NHS that provides a partnership
between the Department of Health, the NHS and professional bodies, to provide high
quality e-learning content for the training of the healthcare workforce.
The e-learning programmes are delivered to professional bodies (projects) such as
the Royal College of Anaesthetists, Radiology etc. Therefore it was essential that
e-LfH could add comprehensive project information as and when required without recourse
to assistance from Rocktime. This functionality has been provided with Logic Rocktime
Web Content Management System.
Each online project comprises a series of content managed web pages with flexibility
for the client in terms of the graphical presentation of each project section.
Additional modules provided as part of the content management system include functions
to manage ‘News’, ‘Meet the Team’ and ‘Video Content’. As such the client can allocate
news, team or video information to a specific online project. The client has the
ability to add a new project and commensurate information offline for internal collaboration
prior to the content being authorised and made live.
Each project requires a bespoke online registration form and the Rocktime content
management system allows the client to create a unique online dynamic form for each
new project.
Results
e-LfH subsequently commissioned Rocktime to provide an easy to use web application
that would allow the administrators to track the progress of all ongoing projects;
by a projects component parts and external staff responsible for such tasks.
Rocktime have provided the solution with a bespoke database development that can
be accessed securely by authorised staff and administrators via the internet.
Rocktime continue to work with e-LfH on both of these projects developing the range
of functionality, reporting (etc.) for the benefit of both users and administrators.
