Software Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Software Business Development Manager to join a leading digital agency that develops Software as a Service (SAAS) for both the public and private sectors that is based in Poole, Dorset.  As part of a fast paced, cutting edge environment you will play a key role in developing new business opportunities across the UK and will be rewarded for your part in doing so. 

Known for innovation and creative excellence and accredited for both 9001 and 27001 as well as inclusion on the government Framework G-Cloud, you will be joining an exciting, progressive digital software business proud to include notable local authorities around the UK as well as clients in the private sector such as Unilever, Vodafone, Boots Opticians and DHL in our long client list.  With a strong reputation, and an impressive portfolio, we have built a diverse array of projects spanning: Strategic Consultancy, Software Development, CMS, Ecommerce, Search Marketing, Bespoke Database Development and Tailored Hosting solutions and more recently are developing a suite of software products under a new brand Verso.

To qualify as one of our Business Development Managers... We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with relevant industry experience. At a minimum you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the digital market from an agency or similar environment delivered to medium to large corporates at management and board level.   • Target achievement
  • Notable accolades
  • Experience at writing tenders and proposals
  • Ability to present either as part of a team pitch or individually
  • Capability to develop channels of opportunity
  • Client facing skills, including the ability to interpret requirements forming part of a projects guideline.
