Fitness First the worlds largest gym, health and fitness club operator have significantly enhanced their internet presence following a re-launch of their UK website. The project to date has comprised a completely fresh design, client content management system and a range of intuitive applications to maximise both the visitor experience and encourage customer information data capture. Testament to the success of the new website is the New Year peak of more than 70,000 visitors to the site in only one day.

With the health and fitness sector in the UK marked by massive growth measured against increased competition a professional and visible web presence has been identified as essential by Fitness First for generating new membership enquiries and increased customer loyalty.

Rocktime has developed the website in ASP.Net 2.0 for maximum database performance and security. Additionally Rocktime have incorporated 'intelligent website content targeting' to help manage the visitor experience. A database driven application tracks and assesses the initial information a user views and subsequently presents the individual with tailored content as they move around the website. Similarly, users can personalise their online visits to match their health and fitness objectives.
