Using Rocktime’s Source E-commerce Platform as the basis for the functionality
the developed extranet is able to offer the user a flexible and effective means
of presenting the required products and carry out the placement of an order.
Ongoing customers have the ability to review past order history through their personal
area when logged in.
The client required the transfer of certain information between the extranet and
their ‘Pecas’ system; these comprise:
- Inventory - (Up to the extranet) Update of stock records per product
- Order Status/ Delivery History - (Up to the extranet) Update of the order status
Relevant records are updated dependant on the timed polling between the systems.
From the successful implementation the client provided feedback that following the
roll out of the ‘Printcalloff’ Extranet for Integrity Print one of their
largest clients, a major UK financial group, stated that 'the site is the best
laid out and easiest to use of all the comparable systems that their suppliers
have made available'. As a result of this acknowledgement they have instructed Integrity
Print to go ahead and set up all products that they supply on the
site for purchasing.
