Caravan and Mobile Homes Licensing scheme changes on October 1st

According to the latest changes in Caravan licensing scheme, by 1 October 2021 all site owners must submit an application for a relevant person to be assessed for fit and proper persons.

The assessments will require Criminal Records certificate, background checks, site ownership details, site management details, declarations and more. The new scheme will also allow for split fees: 1) Application fee to cover cost of assessing applications on fit and proper register 2) Annual fee to cover the cost of monitoring the scheme and or conditions attached.
