A Brief Summary of Rocktime 2021

Over the past year, the team at Rocktime has been working hard as always. We’ve expanded, further strengthened our position in the public sector, moved our headquarters to a new location whilst opening a technology hub and fully adopted a remote-first work model for the foreseeable future.

We kicked-off 2021 with some notable projects such as HMO Licensing platform for Thanet Council and Street Services Licensing platform for West Sussex. We launched verso™UX Web Forms package which has been designed as a natural evolution from .Gov.UK forms to an automated solution, enabling councils improve upon their application management process and reduce operating resource overhead in a highly cost-effective manner.

We were excited to win another competitive tender to support the digital transformation of a system which will enable local authorities across Wales to work together to quickly identify unlicensed dog breeding activities and get the breeders registered, through delivering an all-Wales Dog Breeding Licensing Portal.

We’ve continued to promote innovation in the Public Sector by Supporting Ministry of Housing with QR code technology and are working closely with Trading Standards Wales to deliver digital transformation by replacing their legacy platform with a new cloud-based solution.

With an ever-growing team we welcomed 5 new members this year, including a new Project Manager, Mark; new Software Developers, Lawrence, Phil and Kate; new Automation Test Analyst, Rubi. With a clear path for continual growth in 2022 we intend to expand our team still further.

With the Christmas season approaching, festivities have begun for the team. We have kicked-it off with a Christmas themed virtual quiz night and have plans for drinks (pandemic allowing).

The office will be taking a well-deserved break and will be closing for Christmas from the afternoon of Friday 24st December 2021 until 3nd January 2022. You can still get in touch if you need support between these dates.
