Discovery Workshops

Digital Transformation has become a commonly recognised term with execution from tentative experimentation through to application at a massive scale. Most stakeholders and key decision makers are now more comfortable with cloud delivery models.

In the Public Sector a recent Gartner’s CIO survey stating that 53% of digital initiatives in government are in early stages of digitally driven outcomes (up 40% from 2018). Supporting this 39% of government organisations consider cloud services as an area of increased spend for 2019.

To achieve this isn’t straightforward given the complexities of the tasks undertaken by council staff carrying out their daily activities with often time consuming processes. Without a clear understanding of how to make that transition it relies completely on individual teams to outline the necessary changes in isolation of their own accord.

Collaborative Workshops

Working in collaboration with our clients, Rocktime is able to support teams through a process of discovery to establish clear strategic objectives and vision. Understanding the major driver for scale is the intent to increase customer and citizen engagement whilst streamlining existing processes we’re able to identify the challenges faced and exploring the opportunities that new technology offers provides the means to confidently describe best practice and optimisation of services and product. Using Design Thinking Methodologies provides a straightforward approach which encourages participation and rewards with high levels of team buy-in.

The outcome of a successful workshop is a clear vision of ‘what’ is required, ‘who’ it is intended for and options for ‘how’ it will be implemented. We are able to provide a variety of different workshops depending on requirements from a ‘light touch’ approach to an ‘in depth’ extensive process of evaluation.

If you are currently faced with challenges that would benefit from collaborative approach as part of a workshop please get in touch.
